🎯 Current Projects
Clean Energy Living Laboratories (CELLs): The Development of Centres of Excellence on Energy Access, Renewable Energy, and Energy Efficiency
The project is funded by the European Union-Access to Sustainable Energy Projects and is in partnership with the Ateneo de Manila University School of Governance. USC CREST serves as the Visayas CELLs. The focus of the project is to implement suitable renewable energy technologies in selected off-grid communities in the Visayas with the intention to make them sustainable.
🎯 Past Projects
Capacity in research and development embedded in case studies related to energy in the built environment and for rural electrification
A collaborative project between the Center for Research in Energy Systems and Technologies (CREST) of the University of San Carlos (Philippines) and the Sustainable Energy Research Group (SERG) of the University of Southampton (UK), the research work covers two areas, namely, energy efficiency in buildings and energy access (rural electrification). The grant is funded by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the Newton Fund through the British Council. See more…
